Welcome back to the Mercell Advent Calendar! Today is the third Monday of December, so we are back with another article. If you’re new here, the advent calendar is where we share valuable information, helpful tips and best practices from us here at Mercell.
This week we’ll be discussing your Mercell account and what to do if you get stuck while logging into it.
No matter which Mercell product or service you’re using, it all begins by logging into your account. If you don’t have an account, there’s usually a registration option somewhere on the page where you log in. Today we’re assuming you already have an account and are using Mercell’s products and services.
If you’re unable to log in, make sure you’re trying to log into the correct platform. Mercell has many different products under its umbrella, so it is possible to get things mixed up. Try again just to be safe, and make sure you’re using the right username and password.
If the issue persists and you’re not getting access to your account, the next move is to request a password reset. There will usually be a link on the login page to begin this process. If you already have an account registered with Mercell you should get an email with instructions for how to reset your password.Once you’ve created a new password you can then log in using your new details!
In some cases when you request a password reset, you might get a message saying your account doesn’t exist, or you might not get a reset email. In that case you may be trying to log into the wrong account, the wrong platform, or you’ll have to create a new account.
When creating a new account, there may be situations where you get an error message stating “a company with the same company name, organization number or administrator already exists”. If this happens you have to reach out to our customer service team or a customer success manager via email - you can’t share this kind of company information over the phone.
Remember, you can always head to our Knowledge Base to look up additional information, or ask questions in the Mercell Community if you need help with logging in.
