Hi everyone,
I’ve been using the Mercell platform to monitor several upcoming public tenders, but I’ve recently hit a persistent technical snag where the "My Opportunities" dashboard becomes sluggish and my bid document downloads often fail midway.
I am currently using a windows app community setup to handle some automated local logging and data-scrubbing scripts for our internal project management while I work. I’ve noticed that whenever the background executor starts a heavy processing cycle, the Mercell portal starts to lag significantly. I frequently run into "Connection Timed Out" errors when trying to open tender announcements, and the browser memory usage spikes to the point where I have to force a restart just to see the latest updates.
It feels like the background process is competing for the same system resources that the Mercell UI needs for its real-time state management and secure document streaming. I have a few related concerns for the procurement peers here:
I’m not sure if the way a windows app style environment manages its internal networking is causing a resource contention issue with the browser’s hardware acceleration or the specific socket connections used by the Mercell portal. Has anyone else encountered performance bottlenecks or "Gateway Timeout" errors while running high-level script executors alongside their tendering tools? I am also wondering if there is a way to prioritize the browser’s resource allocation so I don't lose my place in the bid list when the background automation hits a peak.
I really need to keep this automation active to stay on top of our internal logs, but the constant UI lag is making it very difficult to stay productive with our tender responses. If anyone has experience optimizing a professional workstation for concurrent usage of heavy script executors and Mercell’s procurement tools, I’d love to hear your advice!
Thanks for the help!
