At Mercell, we’re working hard to make both the tendering and bidding processes easier, always improving our products and services to help you work smarter, not harder. In April, we rolled out new updates for Mercell Tendering, primarily around UK notices and our AI Profile Builders for suppliers.

Let’s dive into the updates:

  • Added support for new UK notices
    • UK1 - Pipeline notice
    • UK5 - Transparency notice
    • UK6 - Contract award notice
    • UK7 - Contract details notice
    • UK10 - Contract change notice
    • UK11 - Contract termination notice
    • UK12 - Procurement termination notice
  • Added allowance for sequencing of UK forms

Added support for new UK notices

New UK notices have become mandatory to use in public tenders from April 1st. With our latest update we have added support for several new UK notices to enable our buyers to publish all notices supported by the MeForms solution, ensuring compliance for all relevant forms.

This is how Mercell Tendering can help you

  • UK buyers will be able to open up a specific UK form, fill out the necessary fields, and publish the right information to the “Find a tender” page.

Here’s why it matters to you

Being able to publish any form required by UK legislation will enable our buyers to publish all notices supported by the MeForms solution. This will make the solution compliant to offer a publication method for all relevant forms.

Added sequencing of UK forms and notices

In addition to support for the new UK notices, we’re also adding sequencing of these forms and notices to the platform. In practice, this means that only certain notices can be published after another, making it easier for you to create the correct notices in the same procurement. For this addition we are following guidance given by the UK government.

This is how Mercell Tendering can help you

  • As you create notices for your procurement, you’ll only be able to create specific notices if the correct previous notice has also been created. You’ll be guided towards the proper forms and notices by the user interface in Mercell Tendering

Here’s why it matters to you

Thanks to this new setup you will be prevented from making mistakes when choosing which forms and notices to publish for your procurement.
