Hej,

We have now started using this platform for direct procurements and have a question regarding test accounts.

In the previous “Direktupphandlingsmodulen”, we were able to add our own email address to test the system as a fictitious supplier. This was a valuable way for us to understand the supplier interface, which in turn helped us better respond to questions and adjust our requests based on the system's functionalities.

When we attempt to test a request in Sourcing Core by adding a supplier using a colleague’s email address, the request is sent correctly. However, since the recipient is also registered as a purchaser/admin, we never access the supplier view but instead remain in the purchaser view.

In TendSign, we can obtain separate supplier accounts to review our procurements from the suppliers’ perspective. Is there a similar solution in Sourcing Core? How can we, as purchasers, create test supplier accounts to simulate the supplier experience?

We would appreciate a prompt response!

Hi Emil,

Thank you for reaching out.

Unfortunately, that functionality is not available at the moment.
In the Tendering and Bidding platform, your email address serves as your username, which means you cannot create duplicate accounts with different user roles, as the system cannot determine which access you need at a given time.
To test the supplier experience, we recommend creating a separate test supplier account via the Signup page, using a different email address that is not linked to your purchaser/admin profile. This will allow you to fully access the supplier interface and simulate the process from a supplier’s perspective.
One option is to use a generic email address that can be shared among colleagues, so you can collectively test and use the same registration for your company's tenders.
Please note that when filling out the registration form, entering a Company Registration Number is mandatory. We recommend using either a fictional number or the same company trading name you created for the test supplier account. This helps avoid mixing the test account with any live registrations.
