Hello Connectors!
We are incredibly excited that the new Mercell Tendering and Bidding are now rolling out for our customers. To help you navigate your new experience we’ve jotted down a few things that are good to know about this new platform.
In this article we’ll be taking you through Profile and Organisation Settings.
Let’s go!
Profile Settings
After logging in to the platform with an existing user you will then have access to a Dashboard. Here you can click on your name in the top right corner and enter “My Profile”. From here you’ll have access to a series of tabs to change your user settings:
- General Info is where you access your profile and various settings within. You can change your general information, activate and deactivate your profile, delete your account, and see your activity log
- Roles lists your organisation and which roles you have in said organisation
- Preferences allow you to set your time zone and language
- Email Notifications is where you decide if platform notifications are also sent to you via email. You’ll be able to select which specific notifications are sent via email
- Monitoring Profile lets you set a monitoring profile, if your subscription allows you to
- Mercell Supplier Registry is where you can enrol in the supplier registry, allowing buyers to find you whenever they’re creating new opportunities
Organisation Management
If you are logged in as an organisation administrator you will have access to Organisation Management in your platform control panel. Let’s now take a look at Organisation Management, and then move on to User Management:
- Organisation Management lets you see your organisation and edits its information, like the country it’s in, as well as its registry number
- User Management is a global list of all the users linked to your organisation. If you are an administrator you can change other users’ Profile information and their Roles
- Choosing to edit their roles will change their permissions within your organisation. You can also enroll them in other organisations if you’re an administrator for several organisations
