Hello Connectors!
We are incredibly excited that Sourcing Core is rolling out for our customers. To prepare you for your upgrade to the new platform, as well as help upgraded users navigate the new experience, we’ve jotted down a few things that are good to know about Sourcing Core.
In this article we’ll be taking a look at Supply Side Tender Management. For a video run-through, check out the links below:

Let’s jump right in:
Accepting an Invitation
As a supplier you might be invited to a bid by a buyer. If you are, you'll receive an email invitation with a link to go to the tender in question.

Clicking the link will send you to a page in Sourcing Core. Here you can accept or reject the invitation. By accepting, the content of the tender will be made available to you. You’ll be able to read any documents uploaded to the tender, as well as see questions and announcements.
To view documents submitted by a buyer to a tender, simply click on the Documents module from the tender page. From here you can download each document individually or bundled together in a zip file.

Questions and Announcements
Going to the Questions and Announcements module will let you ask clarifying questions to the buyer.
Clicking “New question” opens up a new window to submit a question. You have to reference a specific document in the tender when asking your question. You can also mark the question as private, if you don’t want others to see it.

A question will first be saved in the Drafts tab, and from here you can submit them one at a time or all at once to the buyer. The “...” menu next to each question will let you publish, edit, or delete a single question, or you can submit them all using the button in the top right corner.
The Announcements tab will let you read any announcements that have been published by the buyer to the tender.
Submitting a bid
When you are ready to submit a bid on the tender, simply click the button named “Go to Bid page” on the right hand side of the page.
Here you’ll have to upload bid documents, either by dragging them into the upload area or using the “Upload” button. You can upload multiple documents and rearrange them as you see fit. A password is needed to successfully submit the bidding documents. You’ll also receive a confirmation email about the bid submission.

If you have to make necessary changes, or if you’ve changed your mind you can recall the bid (confirmed with a password). Then you can upload any documents that may be missing.
Congratulations, you’ve successfully submitted a bid to a tender!
